Enduring Plants from Colonial Times

by the Botanical Art Society of the National Capital Region


This exhibition of 53 works at Brookside Gardens in Maryland features plants that have endured since the founding of our country. An opening “meet the artists” event was held on June 20th, at which Mary Kading’s watercolor of English Ivy won the “People’s Choice” award. Members whose works are included: Joseph Bailey, Carol Tudor Beach, Elena Maza Borkland, Janice Browne, Anne Clippinger, Karen Coleman, Nancy Jean Davis, Joan Maps Ducore, Mary Elcano, Michelle Gates, Gail Goodrich Harwood, Mary Kading, Gouri Krishna, Ann Lesciotto, Marsha Ogden, Mary O’ Herron, Cynthia Rice, Theresa Rideout, Alice Tangerini, and Emily Yeatts.
