Botanical Art OnDemand™ is an online, on demand educational resource for those who wish to learn the practice of botanical art, improve their skills and gain competency in this artform which is experiencing a resurgence around the world. ASBA hopes that the Botanical Art OnDemand™ video platform will become the “go-to” place for botanical art instruction. Botanical Art OnDemand™ offers students a curriculum developed by the Education Committee of the American Society of Botanical Artists outlining the skills needed and the order in which they should be pursued to advance as a botanical artist. The program will offer instructional videos matched with each skill, taught by some of the best botanical art instructors in the world. 

In addition to offering guided Botanical Art Instruction, Botanical Art OnDemand™ offers access to recordings of past videos broadcast live by the American Society of Botanical Artists. These include:

• Botanical Art Techniques in Action – demonstrations by artists/instructors featured in ASBA’s book Botanical Art Techniques: A Comprehensive Guide

• The Botanical Artist LIVE – in depth talks with artists featured in ASBA’s most recent issue of The Botanical Artist journal

• Studio Visits – join top contemporary botanical artists featured in recent ASBA exhibitions as they tour you around their studios and talk about their unique approach to botanical art

• Portfolios and Passions – prolific ASBA-member artists present their distinctive bodies of work along with the stories that led them in their pursuit
