Trained as a medical illustrator and graphic designer, Kerri enjoyed a previous career as an Exhibits Graphic Designer with the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, Canada. Her parents were avid gardeners who instilled a passion for all things botanical.

Today, Kerri is an internationally recognized botanical artist. Her work has been published in Fine Art Connoisseur magazine, juried into international art exhibitions and is in the collection of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation. She has designed commemorative WWI gold and silver coins for the Royal Canadian Mint.

Kerri gives generously of her time to the development of botanical art and artists in the national capital region where she lives and in Canada. She has taught botanical art classes at the Ottawa School of Art, Nepean Visual Arts Centre and the Canadian Museum of Nature, and with her students formed the Ottawa Society of Botanical Artists. In the role of Exhibition Chair, Kerri led a countrywide team to create a national botanical art exhibition called Art of the Plant. In 2018, over 21,000 visitors saw Art of the Plant at the Canadian Museum of Nature.

Kerri is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and the University of Toronto's Art as Applied to Medicine program.
