Ingrid Finnan's exhibition history includes: The ASBA International Juried Botanical Art Exhibitions (9th through 17th), the recipient of the Eleanor Wunderlich Award for Excellence, 2012, and the Horticultural Society of New York Best in Show Award, 2013; and Following in the Bartrams' Footsteps, Philadelphia, Pa., 2013. Her work was included in three exhibitions of The New York Botanical Garden and the ASBA: Losing Paradise? Endangered Species Here and Around the World; Green Currency - Plants in the Economy, recipient of the Bronze Medal; and Weird, Wild & Wonderful; Filoli Annual Botanical Art Exhibitions (9th through 16th), recipient of the Bourn Award, 2013. Her work Zingiber officinale, was shown in Botanical Art into the Third Millennium, Museo della Grafica, Pisa, Italy, 2013, and in the Shirley Sherwood Collection, Botanical Art in the 21st Century; Kew Gardens, UK. In 2013 her work was included in the Newhouse Galleries, Illuminations - Botanicals and Birds at Planting Fields, New York, and again in East Hampton, New York, in 2014.
In addition, she has shown at the Southampton Cultural Center in an exhibit presented by Ursus Books & Prints, the Phoenix Art Museum, The Arizona State Museum, Tidemark Gallery, Mills Pond House Gallery, and at the New York State Museum. Her work is included in the Shirley Sherwood Collection and a number of other private collections.
Ingrid lives in Riverdale, close to the glorious flowers and plants of Wave Hill and The New York Botanical Garden.
