ASBA’s 17th Annual International at The Horticultural Society of New York opened on the evening of Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Jurors Patricia Jonas, Marco Polo Stufano, and Catherine Watters met in April to select 42 artworks among 215 submissions from around the world.  
Hailing from around the US, and from Australia, Canada, France, Israel, Japan, and the UK, the following artists had artworks accepted for exhibition: Milly Acharya, Rosalind Allchin, Irene Blecher, Insil Choi, Carrie Di Costanzo, Rosemary Donnelly, Jean Emmons, Margaret Farr, Ingrid Finnan, Kathleen Folino, Monika deVries Gohlke, Agathe Haevermans, Asuka Hishiki, Wendy Hollender, Rose Marie James, Haruyo Kawashima, Joan Keesey, Karen Kluglein, Patricia Luppino, Dorothy McCauley, Joan McGann, Robert McNeill, Carrie Megan, Derek Norman, Tomoko Ogawa, John Pastoriza-Pinol, Annie Patterson, Kelly Radding, Lynne Railsback, Lesley Randall, Dick Rauh, Gillian Rice, Betsy Rogers-Knox, Susan Sapanara, Margaret Saylor, Constance Scanlon, Deborah Shaw, Denise Walser-Kolar, and Carol Woodin.

Meet the artists and enjoy a seasonal cocktail during this reception and walkthrough of our annual exhibition with the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA). New Yorks premier showcase of contemporary botanical art, ASBAs Annual International presents the genres most established artists alongside emerging talents from around the world.
Artists Carrie Di Costanzo, Ingrid Finnan, and Monika deVries Gohlke will share their personal stories behind their work and offer a unique perspective on the work of their peers. They will be joined by exhibition juror Patricia Jonas, who will provide insight into the artwork selection process
This is a great opportunity to see the show before it closes on Wednesday, November 26th.
